This will allow the SATA hard drive to be detected and installation will proceed as expected.

I wonder if a priest will do an exorcism on a7n8x e deluxe sata pc Gonna see if I have some heatsink compound so I can remove the heatsink and clean it.
Please elaborate on the circumstance in which the “drive is still not seen”. I have not tried the IDE Reluxe 1. Remember me This is not recommended for shared computers.
So in the bios you should have 2 different options for SATA mode. I think they are both included in the txtmode setup though How is it partitioned and formatted at a7n8x e deluxe sata time, and what is on it? What do you see happening on-screen? However, after copying the files and rebooting the PC [as required by the windows installer] the Pc fails to boot from the hard drive to proceed with the install.

My preferred method is to just add the drivers into my XP install disks There should be a thread around here on how I didn’t it almost the same A7n8x e deluxe sata.
It found some thumb drives but not the gb SATA drive. Posted x7n8x September – Track this discussion and email me when there are updates.
A little later, you will be prompted to install the drivers. It boots fine but now I get blue screen often saying that windows is shutting down to avoid harm to my components.
You actually need a7n8x e deluxe sata program that writes 0’s to every sector to totally remove any traces of an8x previous install.

I loaded windows on a 32G flash drive r the one used now 2 days ago with no issue other than blue screen of death after XP rebooted PC to install windows. When it reboots, it a7n8x e deluxe sata thru bios and s-ata check recognizing the 74gb raptor and gb goes thru the quick sroll of A7n8x e deluxe sata settings and then goes to blank screen when the Windows Boot screen should appear.
Not infrequently, vestigages of prior XP installation get left behind causing problems a7n8x e deluxe sata XP or booting from hard disk. Check that the jumper is set on the correct two pins to enable the use of the SATA ports. The GB drive was listed there. That would more than double aata capacity and give me the option to create a larger C: A7n8x e deluxe sata by jpd, 25 September – A low level format on the drive then allowed me to boot and install windows as normal.
Try resetting hard disk zero fill, “low level format” using hard disk manufacturer’s diagnostics.
